FIND YOUR FABRIC
DENIM
Your jeans work hard. The good news? Looking after them is easy. Here’s how to make denim last longer.
Wash less. Spot clean where you can and air your denim between wears. Every wash you skip helps it hold its colour and shape for longer.
Hand wash or gentle machine wash only — cold water, always. No hot cycles, no vigorous spin.
Turn inside out before washing to protect the colour and surface of the fabric.
Air dry only. Hang or lay flat away from direct heat and sunlight. The dryer is not your denim's friend.
Read the label. Care instructions may vary slightly. When in doubt, the little label on the inside left leg is there to help.
WOOL & ALPACA
Real wool and alpaca are pieces you’ll buy once, wear forever. Plus, they need less washing than you'd think.
Hand wash or gentle machine wash cold using a wool-specific detergent. Gently press out the water, then roll in a clean towel to absorb the rest.
Lay flat to dry—away from direct heat and sunlight. Hanging a wet knit will stretch it out of shape, and the dryer may shrink it.
Pilling is normal. Remove gently with a fabric comb or lint shaver. Fluffy alpaca pieces may shed a little at first too—this settles with wear.
Store folded, not hanging. For longer-term storage (over the summer months), we recommend a breathable bag with a cedar ball or lavender sachet to keep moths away.
Read the label. Care instructions may vary slightly. When in doubt, the inside label is there to help.
LEATHER
Real leather only gets better with time. A little regular care goes a long way to making sure it keeps it going season after season.
Wipe down after wear with a soft dry cloth to remove surface dust and moisture before storing.
Condition every few months with a leather conditioner. Apply with a soft cloth and test on a hidden spot first.
If it gets wet, blot don't rub, and leave to air dry naturally away from direct heat.
Store on a wide padded hanger away from direct sunlight and heat.
For marks or stains, a professional leather care service is always the safest option.
