At DECJUBA, we’re proud to be a B Corp™ certified Australian fashion brand.

But we know the work doesn’t stop here. Being B Corp™ certified recognises the commitment we continue to make – to keep improving as a brand, and as a business.

For us, better isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s something we work toward every day. Through the choices we make in our designs, our decisions, and the way we show up for our people, our products, and the planet we all share.

And while we’re proud of how far we’ve come, we’re even more aware of how far there is still to go. This isn’t the end for us. It’s the beginning of better.

WE CREATE BETTER PRODUCT

At DECJUBA, we believe our journey toward a more responsible future starts with the choices we make in our products and materials.

PRODUCT

We created the DECJUBA Future Approved Material Criteria – a framework that recognises fibres verified by trusted third-party certifications for responsible sourcing, traceability, and lower environmental impact.

Products made with 70% or more certified fibres that meet this criteria are labelled as DECJUBA Future Approved.

Circularity

Fashion plays a powerful role in how we express ourselves and with that comes a responsibility to design, use and extend the life of our clothes more thoughtfully. Circularity is a key part of DECJUBA’s commitment to reducing waste and keeping garments in use for longer.

DECJUBA became the first retail partner to pilot and launch Authentified, a circularity platform that simplifies and accelerates the resale of pre-loved fashion, now supporting a wide range of brands and retailers beyond DECJUBA.

DECJUBA was also the first retailer to launch with Upparel, and together we've diverted over 5,000 kg of textiles from landfill to date.
Today, our denim take-back recycling program – available both in store and online – is open to everyone in Australia with Upparel and everyone in Aotearoa New Zealand via ImpacTex.

WE PARTNER IN EVERY STEP

At DECJUBA, we’re committed to understanding how our clothes are made and to working with suppliers who share our expectations for ethical and responsible business practices. Our long-term partnerships help us set clear standards through our Supplier Code of Conduct and Human Rights Policy. As of 2025, we have mapped 100% of our Tier 1 and Tier 2 factories, and all Tier 1 factories producing DECJUBA products are ethically audited.

These audits support our ongoing human rights due diligence and help us identify, assess and address potential risks within our supply chain.
You can view our factory list here through Open Supply Hub.

We recognise that responsible sourcing is an ongoing journey, and we continue to strengthen our approach as part of how we do business.

WE CARE FOR OUR PLANET

We’re taking steps to better understand (and reduce) our impact on the planet. Since 2023, we’ve been measuring our emissions across our business and supply chain, with support from Edge Impact. This helps us focus our efforts where they matter most.

In FY25:

  • Our total emissions were 28,147 tonnes of CO₂
  • Most emissions came from making and transporting our products
  • We reduced our emissions by 13.8% compared to FY24

Renewable energy

All DECJUBA stores, offices and warehouses in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand operate on 100% renewable electricity, with operational emissions offset through Tasman Environmental Markets.

Packaging

We’re working to reduce packaging waste wherever we can. As of 2025, 59% of our packaging is reusable, recyclable or compostable. We’re also proud members of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO), where we continue to maintain an Advanced performance level for our efforts to improve packaging and reduce environmental impact.

“Becoming a certified B Corp shows what's possible when every team unites with purpose. We're showing what real change looks like, and what the future of retail can be.”
